18.5 Problems when Configuring and Controlling Radio-Controlled Sockets
Problem Cause and corrective measures
When configuring the radio-con-
trolled sockets, the time period
cannot be set as desired.
The time period must be at least as long as
• the maximum program runtime
or
the sum of the minimum switch-on time and the minimum switch-off time and
the sum of the device operating time and the minimum switch-off time set for
the time period.
Corrective measures:
• When setting the time period, take into consideration the maximum program
runtime or the minimum switch-on and switch-off time and the set device
operating time.
I cannot configure the radio-con-
trolled sockets in SunnyPortal or
set the operating mode of the ra-
dio-controlled sockets using
SunnyPortal.
You might not have Installer or Plant Administrator user rights.
Corrective measures:
• Ask the system administrator to assign you Installer or Plant
administrator user rights (see Section16.4, page116).
The SunnyHomeManager can-
not control the Edimax smart plug
switch.
The password of the Edimax smart plug switch might be unknown to the
SunnyHomeManager.
Corrective measures:
• Enter the password of the Edimax smart plug switch in the
SunnyHomeManager properties (see Section11.3.7, page58).
The Edimax smart plug switch
registered in the local network is
not found by the
SunnyHomeManager.
This might be a smart plug switch by Edimax, which is not supported by the
SunnyHomeManager.
Corrective measures:
• Check whether the smart plug switch by Edimax is supported by the
SunnyHomeManager.
The SunnyHomeManager is not
communicating with the Fritz!Box.
The smart home settings in the Fritz!Box might not be correct.
Corrective measures:
• If you selected the option Login without password for the Fritz!Box login
when you set up the smart home control, in the Fritz!Box itself under the tab
Login for access from the home network the option Login with
keystroke must not be activated.
The SunnyHomeManager is not
able to switch my AVMradio-
controlled socket.
In the settings of the FRITZ!Box, it is specified that the radio-controlled socket can
be switched via smart home devices.
Corrective measures:
• Check whether the settings in SunnyPortal match the settings for login of the
FRITZ!Boz.
• In the Fritz!Box settings, select the respective device under Home network
> Smart home > Smart home devices and click on the button for editing
the properties. Got to Manual switching and enable the Permit manual
switching by phone, app, user interface or other smart home device
checkbox.
