General procedure:
1. Including the compatible relay into the system
e.g. for a Modbus device: Set up Modbus connection (see Section11.3.13, page61) and include Modbus
device in the system (see Section11.5.2, page64).
2. Connect the heat pump to the compatible relay and define basic load characteristics (see Section12.4,
page78), including, for example, the correct power consumption (see Section12.4.4, page81), the minimum
running time (see Section12.4.6, page82) and that the heat pump should only be switched (see Section12.4.9,
page83).
3. Configure the time period (see Section12.5, page84).
20.2.4 Configuring the use of the SG Ready heat pump
Configuring load characteristics
1. Under Configuration > Load overview and planning, click on Add load in the upper field Load overview.
☑ The New load tab opens with the input fields for the properties of the new load.
2. In the Load properties field, select Heat pump with SG READY as Load type from the drop-down list.
3. Enter a name for your heat pump under Load name.
4. Under Power Consumption, indicate how many watts the heat pump typically requires (see type label or
manufacturer's specifications).
5. Enter the required time periods for the Minimum switch-on time and the Minimum switch-off time of the heat
pump.
6. Set the Priority of the heat pump.
7. In the Measuring and switching section, select from the drop-down list the option The assigned device is
only to switch, not measure (fixed power consumption).
8. Under Device assignment, specify the compatible radio-controlled socket or relay via which your heat pump is
to be controlled.
9. Optionally, you can select and upload a Load icon for the heat pump and assign a Load color under which the
heat pump is displayed in the load overview on the Configuration > Load Overview and planning menu page and
on the SunnyHomeManager system > Load balance and control menu page.
10. Click on [Save].
☑ A window appears with the message that the heat pump has been successfully added as a load.
11. You can proceed directly and configure a time window for the heat pump by clicking on Configure time
window.
12. If you do not want to configure a time window (yet), close the message.
You can select the heat pump at any time via the Load balance and control menu page or the Load overview and
planning menu page and access the load properties there via the configuration icon in order to set up one or
more time windows at a later date.
Configuring the time period
1. Select Configuration > Load Overview and Planning in the page and menu selection.
2. In the "heat pump" line, in the column Configuration, click on icon.
3. In the tab of heat pump, click on the button [Edit].
4. Click on [Configure time period].
5. Under Load is switched on you must select whether the load should run Daily or Only on the following
weekdays.
If the load should only be operated on certain days of the week, you must click on the corresponding day(s) of
the week in the line that opens.
