FRITZ!Box password
There is no separate password for AVM FRITZ!DECT products, Communication of the SunnyHomeManager takes
place indirectly via the FRITZ!Box. For this, a FRITZ!Box password is required depending on the set login. To set up the
SmartHome control in the SunnyHomeManager, as of FRITZ!OS version 7.26, both a user name and a password
must be entered to log in to the FRITZ!Box (see Section11.3.4, page56).
Make sure that the settings for the FRITZ!Box login in the home network are the same in the FRITZ!Box and in the
SunnyHomeManager.
17.3 Changing Passwords
Changing the SunnyPortal Password
Requirement:
☐ You must be a Standard user, Installer or PV system administrator (see Section16.1, page114).
Procedure:
1. Select User Info/Logout > Personal data in the page and menu selection.
2. On the tab Personal data, select the hyperlink If you want to change your password, please click here.
3. Enter the old and the new SunnyPortal passwords in the designated text fields.
4. Click on [Save].
Changing the System and Installer Passwords
Requirement:
☐ You must have the user role Installer or PV System Administrator (see Section16.1, page114).
Procedure:
1. Call up the device properties of the SunnyHomeManager (see Section11.3, page55).
2. Select [Edit].
☑ The menu for setting the device properties opens.
3. Enter a new password in the PV system password field.
4. Enter the new password again in the field Repeat password.
5. Click on [Save].
☑ The SunnyHomeManager changes the password for all devices.
17.4 Procedure in Case of Forgotten Passwords
SunnyPortal Password Forgotten
1. Go to www.sunnyportal.com.
2. In the Login area, click on the Forgotten password link.
3. Enter your e-mail address in the E-mail field.
4. Click on [Next].
☑ You will receive an e-mail with a link that you have to activate within 24 h.
5. Click on the link and enter a New Password in the window that opens, repeat this entry to confirm and click on
[Save].
System Password Forgotten
Activate each device with a personal unlocking key (PUK).
