10.1.6 Changing or Deleting the System Image
Changing the System Image
System image requirements:
Maximum image size: 500kB
Possible image formats: JPG, PNG, GIF
Procedure:
1. In the area PV system image, click on [Load image].
2. Select the required image from one of your directories.
3. Click on [Open].
4. To change the system image size, move the gray squares with the mouse.
5. To move the image section, click on the image section and move it while holding the left mouse button pressed.
6. Click on [Save].
7. To save an image in the gallery, upload the image to the gallery as follows:
8. Click on [Select from the gallery].
9. Click on [Upload].
10. Click on [Browse].
11. Select the required image from one of your directories.
12. Click on [Upload selected file].
13. Click on .
The image is saved in the gallery.
14. To upload an image from the gallery as the system image, click on [Select from the gallery].
15. Double-click the required image.
16. Click on [Save].
Deleting the User-Defined System Image
If you delete the user-defined system image, SunnyPortal will display the default system image (again).
Procedure:
1. Click on [No PV system image] in the area PV system image.
2. Click on [Save].
10.2 Configuring Strings
A string describes a group of series-connected PV modules. Normally, a system is made up of multiple strings. Each
string has specific properties, such as deviation to south (azimuth) or the roof tilt angle.
The configuration of the strings is of fundamental importance for the correct calculation of the PV forecast and thus an
important prerequisite for load planning as well as the optimization of self-consumption and the self-sufficiency quota.
The following table explains the properties of a string, partly with examples for settings:
