11 Device Administration
In the menu Configuration > Device overview you can configure and add devices to your HomeManager system
as well as replace. You also obtain information on all the devices in your system.
11.1 Device Overview Tab
The device overview tab displays information on all the products that have already been configured in your PV system.
If new devices were detected in the system, this also is shown. When you select [Set up devices now >>], you are
redirected to the Overview of new devices tab. (see Section11.2, page52) From there you are forwarded to the
configuration of these new devices (see Section11.2.2, page54).

B Filters Text fields and drop-down lists for filtering the device overview
C Buttons These buttons refer to the filters (B):
• Update or Reset - refers to the previously set filter
• Update parameters - updates the parameters of all devices
D Device list −
E Device name Symbol and name of the device
F Serial number Serial number of the device
G Product group Product group of the device, e.g. SunnyHomeManager 2.0, SunnyBoy4.0 1AV-41
H Data collection Displays whether the data of this device is to be used on your SunnyPortal pages ( ).
I Monitoring Displays whether the communication monitoring or the inverter comparison is activated
( ) on the devices.
K Characteristics
Opens the tab Device: # with information on the device each selected. Depending on
the device and the device settings, various device properties can be displayed on the
tab of the device.
You can make settings on the devices by using the Properties .
