Requirement:
For this AVM FRITZ!DECT 500 LED lamp, you need to use a FRITZ!Box with DECT as well as FRITZ!OS version
7.20. How to establish a DECT connection and set up the LED lamp can be found on the manufacturer's website
at https://avm.de/service/wissensdatenbank/dok/FRITZ-DECT-500/3541_FRITZ-DECT-500-im-FRITZ-Box-
Heimnetz-einsetzen/.
Procedure:
Under AVM FRITZ!Box Smart Home control, in the line Current status display via:, select the previously
commissioned LED lamp from the drop-down list.
11.3.6 Configuring Niko Home Control
The SunnyHomeManager communicates with Niko products such as radio-controlled sockets only indirectly via the
Niko Home Control Hub.
Requirements:
You need to have commissioned your Niko system with the Niko Home Control programming software or app
(see manufacturer's manual).
The Niko products connected to the Niko Home Control Hub must have been correctly connected and
commissioned (see manufacturer's manual).
The Niko Home Control Hub must have at least software version 2.15.1.83.
The Niko Home Control Hub must be located in the same network as the SunnyHomeManager.
Procedure:
1. In the menu Configuration, click on Device overview.
2. Click on Properties in the row of the SunnyHomeManager.
3. Click on [Edit].
4. Go to Niko Home Control system and select Yes under Home Control Hub available.
5. In the Home Control Hub address: line, enter the address under which the Niko Home Control system can be
reached in your home network.
The address can be entered either in the form of the IP address of the hub or in the form
"fp00112a22a8b6.local" (example), where 00:11:2a:22:a8:b6 corresponds to the Mac address of the hub.
6. Click on [Save].
After a few minutes, the Niko products appear in the Overview of new devices and can now be configured.
11.3.7 Setting the Edimax Smart Plug
Now the password for the Edimax radio-controlled sockets can be entered in the device properties of the
SunnyHomeManager:
Enter the Edimax password.
All Edimax smart plug outlets in the system must have the same password. Otherwise the Edimax smart plug outlets
may not be controlled by the SunnyHomeManager.
Ensure that the shared password is also entered in the Edimax app for each outlet.
11.3.8 Enabling System Communication Monitoring
In the area System communication monitoring you can only deactivate or activate monitoring of your system.
In the other fields the current configuration of the communication monitoring is displayed.
Procedure:
1. In the main menu, call up the page system monitoring.
