Priming and deactivating the anti-
theft alarm system
Useful information
The immobiliser prevents the vehicle from
being started without the correct key. It is
switched on and off automatically.
The anti-theft
alarm system triggers a visual
and audible alarm if a door, the tailgate or
the service cover is opened.
The alarm is not switched off, even if,
for example, you close the open door that has
triggered it.
Priming

Close the doors.

Close the tailgate.
X
Close the service cover.
X
Press the &
button
on the key. The alarm
system is primed after approximately
30 seconds.
If the service cover is open or is not prop-
erly closed, a warning tone sounds for
30 seconds.
Deactivating and switching off the
alarm
