3 Transport and storage
3.1 Transport considerations
The energy storage system can be delivered directly to the site to meet the requirements for
transport by vehicle or ship; it complies with the IMDG CODE and the International Maritime
Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG CODE) transport requirements for sea transport, and with ADR or JT
T617 transport requirements for land transport.
The Energy Storage System is not currently permitted for air transport and does not support
rail transport.
With the integrated design of the energy storage system, handling only requires the use of a
forklift to lift and transport the entire chassis.
Warning
In the whole process of loading, unloading, transport, must comply with the project in the
country/region of the container operation safety regulations!
In the whole process of loading, unloading and transport, must meet the transport origin country,
route country, destination country transport container operation specification and regulatory
requirements!
The energy storage system mechanical parameters (dimensions and weights) should be kept in
mind during the operation.
All personnel involved in loading, unloading and bolting should receive appropriate training,
especially in safety.
Caution
Failure to transport and store in accordance with the requirements of this manual may void the
warranty.
