Table III: Pin Configurations of “CAN” and “RS-485 Ports for CANBus and ModBus Protocols
Sol-Ark 8K (Indoor)
The Sol-Ark 8K Indoor can communicate through two RJ-45 ports labeled
“RJ45_485” and “RJ45_CAN.” Battery communication is established through
CANBus or Modbus communication protocols through the “RJ45_485” and
“RJ45_CAN” ports respectively.
The diagram shows the communication board inside the wiring area of the 8K
Indoor inverter. Note that both the “RJ45_485” and “RJ45_CAN” ports can be used
for battery communications depending on the required protocol. The pin
configurations for Modbus and CANBus communications are listed in Table IV
below.
