Step 2: Setting the VCR to
operate with the A/V
connecting cable
To edit using the VCR, send the control signal by
infrared rays to the remote sensor on the VCR.
When you connect using an A/V connecting
cable, follow the procedures below, (1) to (4), to
send the control signal correctly.
(1) Set the IR SETUP code
1 Set the POWER switch to VCR on your
camcorder.
2 Turn the power of the connected VCR on,
then set the input selector to LINE.
When you connect a video camera recorder,
set its power switch to VCR/VTR.
3 Press MENU to display the menu.
4 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select ,
then press the dial.
5 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select EDIT
SET, then press the dial.
6 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select
CONTROL, then press the dial.
7 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select IR,
then press the dial.
8 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select IR
SETUP, then press the dial.
9 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select the
IR SETUP code of your VCR, then press the
dial.

Stap 2: De videorecorder
instellen op kopiëren via een
audio/video-aansluitsnoer
Voor het monteren met de videorecorder zendt u
het bedieningssignaal via infrarode stralen naar
de afstandsbedieningssensor van de
videorecorder.
Als u de apparaten aansluit via een audio/video-
aansluitsnoer dient u de onderstaande
instelprocedures van (1) t/m (4) te volgen om te
zorgen dat het infrarode bedieningssignaal juist
wordt doorgegeven.
(1) Instellen van de IR SETUP code
1 Zet de POWER schakelaar van de camcorder
in de “VCR” stand.
2 Zet de aangesloten videorecorder aan en zet
de ingangskeuzeschakelaar op “LINE”.
Als u een andere videocamera/recorder
aansluit, zet u de POWER schakelaar daavan
in de “VCR/VTR” stand.
3 Druk op de MENU toets om het instelmenu te
laten verschijnen.
4 Draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC regelknop,
stel in op en druk de regelknop in.
5 Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop in op EDIT SET en druk de
regelknop in.
6 Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop in op CONTROL en druk de
regelknop in.
7 Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop in op IR en druk de regelknop in.
8 Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop in op IR SETUP en druk de
regelknop in.
9 Kies met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop de juiste IR SETUP
afstandsbedieningscode voor uw merk
videorecorder en druk de regelknop in.

“Keuze van de IR SETUP code” (op blz. 97).
