3-3. Installation of Reference Point and
Operation Check (PL23)
3-3-1. Installation
Refer to the instruction manual of the optional SET-P15-1.
Note
When the scale, head and reference point have been
installed, or when they have been re-installed, fasten them
tightly.
3-3-2. Operation Check
• Check the operation after installing, or reinstalling, the
scale and reference point.
• Remove the cover of the PL23 unit and check the LED (Fig.
3-3. D201) lights when the reference point is passed. If the
LED does not light, move the switch on the board (Fig. 3-3.
S201 No.2, F/R) from the position F to R (or R to F), and
pass the reference point once again in the same direction
and confirm that the LED lights. Then reinstall the cover.
Note
Install the reference point securely and properly carry out
the operation check to prevent the reference point from
slipping.
