Recommended use
Use this hookup if your cable system scrambles all, or most channels.
= Background
Cable box with many This VCR can record virtually any unscrambled cable channel. Some
scrambled channels cable systems scramble specific channels, usually premium or pay-per-
view channels. Although this hookup lets you record these scrambled
channels, you must use the cable box rather than the VCR to select
channels.
