Operating the receiver for zone 2 (for STR-DN1050 only)
You can enjoy sound from the receiver in zone 2 by the following procedure.
1. Turn on the amplifier in zone 2.
In the case of “Connecting the speakers in zone 2 (for STR-DN1050 only),” skip this step.
2. Press ZONE POWER on the receiver.
The zone function is activated.
3. Press ZONE CONTROL on the receiver.
4. Select the source signals you want to output using INPUT SELECTOR on the receiver while [2. xxxx (input name)]
is shown on the display panel.
5. Adjust to a suitable volume.
In the case of “Connecting the speakers in zone 2 (for STR-DN1050 only),” adjust the volume using MASTER
VOLUME on the receiver while [2. xxxx (input name)] is shown on the display panel.
In the case of “Connecting another amplifier in zone 2 (for STR-DN1050 only),” adjust the volume using the
receiver in zone 2. If you set [Lineout] for [Zone2] to [Variable], you can also adjust the volume in zone 2 using
MASTER VOLUME on the receiver while [2. xxxx (input name)] is shown on the display panel.
Exiting zone 2 operation
Press ZONE POWER.
