Switching your telephone absent for incoming
group calls
It may be that your system does not support this feature for you. If that is
the case, you will not have access to it.
You need a key programmed with the Group absence feature: the Group
absence key.
• If the LED in the key is off, your phone is switched Present for
incoming group calls.
• If the LED in the key is on, your phone is switched Absent for
incoming group calls.
Group absence
Press the Group absence key.
Note: If you switch your telephone to
Group absence, all your incoming group
calls are diverted to the other group
members.
It depends on a setting in the system as to
where your personal calls come in at that
moment.
• Personal incoming calls will come in
at your own telephone, or
• Personal incoming calls will be
diverted to a pre-defined extension.
