Note: before the temperature limits are reached, the output power will change from FULL
to HALF automatically, so that transmission with the amplifier may continue with
reduced power.
In SSB the use of the compressor is recommended only when necessary; this
strongly reduces the temperature increase.
If the temperature is allowed to rise further, then a “SERIOUS“ alarm will eventually
be activated.
Note: during a SERIOUS alarm, there is an acoustic alarm for 10 sec. Pressing the
[DISPLAY] key, the system changes to ‘STANDBY’ state immediately.
