The indicator comes on when the
Winter mode (W) switch near the
gear selector lever is pressed.
Use this mode to drive off smoothly
on an icy and slippery road.
WINTER MODE INDICATOR
The power mode switch is located
next to the gear shift lever. When the
power mode switch is pressed, the
power mode is activated and its in-
dicator comes on.
With the power mode, automatic
shifting of gears happens when your vehicle’s driving force
reaches its maximum. Use this mode when you need an
extra driving force in certain situations, such as accelerat-
ing to pass by another vehicle or ascend a steep hill.
POWER MODE INDICATOR
When the transmission is overheated, the power mode indicator
will flicker. If this happens, stop your vehicle and cool it down.
CAUTION
BRAKE WARNING LIGHT
This warning light comes on when the
parking brake is applied and/or the
brake fluid level is lower than a
specified level.
LOW FUEL LEVEL WARNING LIGHT
This warning light indicates that the
fuel will soon be exhausted. The time
it takes to turn on, however, varies ac-
cording to the vehicle operation or road
conditions. Do not wait until this light
is on to refuel the vehicle. It is recom-
mended that fuel should be added as
soon as this light comes on.
If the vehicle is driven for over 2 seconds (over 10 km/h) while
the parking brake is applied, the parking brake warning light comes
on and a warning buzzer sounds. If it occurs, immediately stop
the vehicle and release the parking brake.
CAUTION
Driving the vehicle with the brake fluid warning light on is dangerous.
If the parking brake light stays on, you must immediately have
your vehicle checked and serviced by Ssangyong Dealer or
Ssangyong Authorized Service Center.
WARNING
While driving on steep hills or rough roads, this warning light may
come on if the remaining fuel level is low.
