2. Insert the metal latch plate into the buckle until it clicks. Po-
sition the belt as low as possible across your hips, not
across your abdomen.
HOW TO FASTEN THE SEAT BELTS IN SECOND ROW CENTER SEAT
1. Pull out the latch plate at the right
of the seat.
3. If the belt is too tight or slack on your hips,
readjust the belt.
4. To unfasten the seat belt, press the red
button on the buckle.
To lengthen, hold the metal latch plate
at a right angle to the belt and pull the
belt. To shorten, pull the free end of the
belt away from the latch plate, then pull
the belt clip to take up the slack.
Put the lap belt as low as possible
across the hips. Do not put it across
waist. In an accident, the belt may ap-
ply pressure to your abdomen. This
may cause serious internal injuries.
