Step 19 Remove the protection tube from the
shaft and install the transfer pump porting plate
locking screw on the underside of the pump fin-
ger tight .
Step 20 Assemble new seals onto the trans-
fer pump insert and lubricate with Lubriplate
grease. Push insert into bore by hand then
press the insert firmly in place using an 11/32”
nut driver. A “popping” sound will be heard when
the insert properly seats.

Step 21 Assemble 2 new seals to the trans-
fer pump porting plate screw using protection
tool 31215 for the upper seal. Lubricate both
seals using 30465 lubricant.
