2 Pass the fastener through the ferrite

core.

3 Loop the fastener around the cable

and lock it. Use scissors to cut off

any excess.

4 Plug one end of the modular cable

into the modular jack of the periph-

eral.

5 Remove the modular jack cover

from the back of the printer and plug

the other end of the modular cable

into the jack of the printer.
