1 Preface
Thank you for choosing a StecaGrid inverter from Steca Elektronik GmbH. By using solar energy you
make a significant contribution to environmental protection by reducing the total amount of atmos-
pheric pollution caused by carbon dioxide (CO
2
) and other damaging gases.
Highest efficiency with longer service life
The innovative Coolcept inverter topology, based on a single-stage, transformerless circuitry con-
cept, has been integrated for the first time in the StecaGrid 3000 and StecaGrid 3600 and achieves
a peak efficiency of 98.6 %. The European efficiency of the devices is also significantly greater than
98 % and sets new standards in photovoltaic grid-feed systems.
A new and unique cooling concept inside the inverter ensures an even distribution of heat and a
long service life.
Designer casing and easy installation
For the first time, the very high efficiency allows the use of a designer case made of plastic. This
offers many advantages. The overall surface temperature of the devices remains very low. This also
offers great installation advantages.
The lightweight devices weigh only 9 kg and can be easily and safely mounted on a wall. The sup-
plied wall bracket and practical recessed grips for right and left handed installers make mounting of
the device simple and convenient. All connections and the DC circuit breaker are externally acces-
sible.
Visualisation tools and accessories
The devices have a graphical display for visualising the energy yield values, current performance and
operating parameters of the system. Its innovative menu allows individual selection of the various
measurements.
