1. Log on to the computer (or start the computer).
2. Right click on the
or icon to open Connect to a network.
3. In the list, select the “COM-818” wireless network and then click Connect.
4. If requested, enter the security password or network key, and then click OK.
A confi rmation message will appear when you are connected to the network.
5. To confi rm that you have added the computer, run the following:
Click on Start, Control Panel, then in the search box type “network”; then click on view
computers and network devices. You should see icons for the computer you added and
those of other computers and devices that are part of the network.
1. Connect the mini wireless router to a wall outlet. After approximately one minute, the
mini router WLAN light turns on.
2. On your computer or other device with Internet access, go to the wireless settings
and connect to the “COM-818” network. It is likely that you have to disconnect from your
current network.

If you don’t see icons in the network folder, it is possible that for network discovery and
fi le sharing are turned off.
If your computer requests a network PIN code or “set up”, click on “Connect without
setting up”.
