: Hold the cylinder steady and
insert screws (1) and screw with
collar (2) in the underside of the
engine housing.
– Tighten down the screws firmly in
a crosswise pattern.
– Reassemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.

: Pull the ball bearing (1) off the
tapered crankshaft stub (ignition
side).
: Pull the ball bearing (1) off the
straight crankshaft stub (clutch
side).
The crankshaft, connecting rod and
needle bearing form an inseparable
unit.
When fitting a replacement
crankshaft, always install new ball
bearings and oil seals.

– Position the ball bearing (1) with
its open side facing the
crankshaft.
– Heat the inner bearing race to
about 150°C (300°F).
: Push the ball bearing onto the
tapered crankshaft stub (clutch
side) as far as stop.
– Position the ball bearing (1) with
