Accessing the battery
WARNING
We recommend wearing safety footwear when carry-
ing out any work on the tow tractor.
Opening the battery compartment
– Immobilise the tow tractor.
– Switch off the ignition, and remove the key.
– Press the emergency stop button.
– Climb out of the tow tractor, paying atten-
tion to your surroundings.
The battery compartment is on the right-hand
side of the tow tractor.
– Open the battery compartment door using
the handle (1).
Unlocking the battery
– Disconnect the battery.
– Turn the handwheel (2) to unlock it.
– Lift the stop (3).
You can now pull the battery towards you us-
ing a suitable tool (see chapter "Battery re-
placement" below).
WARNING
Risk of trapping fingers
Always wear suitable gloves when handling the bat-
tery.
