12.2.2 Maintenance Interval
Maintain the PCS and internal electric devices periodically to ensure the good performance
of the PCS.
The maintenance interval described in this chapter is for reference only. The actual interval
depends on the on-site environment condition. If the PCS is located in harsh environment,
for example desert areas, the maintenance interval shall be shortened. In particular, clean
the PCS and take anti-corrosion and anti-rust measures frequently.
If the PCS is located in desert areas, it is advisable to check thoroughly the PCS inside and
outside and clean it completely after the sand storm.
Check the module fans inside the PCS periodically and the fans on the top of the
cabinet for abnormal operation and abnormal noise. If so, there may be dust pene-
trating inside the PCS. Stop the PCS and clean the dust.
Wait at least 5 minutes so that the PCS discharges completely. Before cleaning,
make sure, with multimeter, the PCS interior is discharged completely to avoid
electric shock.
Almost all maintenance work requires no internal protective cover during mainte-
nance. Make sure to reassembly the cover and fasten all the screws after the main-
tenance work.
Make sure all bolts are securely fixed.
Once any unconformity is found during routine maintenance of the PCS and inter-
nal devices, please make corrections immediately. Contact SUNGROW if there is
