Mechanical Mounting
Respect all local standards and requirements during mechanical installation.
5.1 Transport
All devices are installed inside the PCS before delivery, and the PCS should be transported
as an integrated unit. Transport the MV Station by crane with sufficient load capacity.
The PCS is delivered to the user by a forwarding company. After unloading, the PCS is
transported to the installation site by the station staff.
Local standards and regulations on the container transport, loading, and unload-
ing, especially those safety instructions should be observed at all times.
• All tools used during transport should be maintained beforehand.
• The transport of the PCS must be done by qualified personnel who have been
trained for safety-related operations.
Keep in mind the dimensions and total weight of the PCS at all times.
Ensure that the following requirements are met:
• All the doors are locked.
• Choose appropriate crane or hoist to transport the PCS. The crane or hoist must be able
to bear the weight of the MV Station.
• An additional traction vehicle may be needed on a slope.
• Anything, which may hinder the transport, like trees, cables (or similar), should be
removed.
• If possible, transport the MV Station in fine weather days.
• Warning signs or barriers must be posted near the transport areas to avoid accidental
injuries.
Additionally, the following should be met when the PCS is placed on the ground:
• Place the PCS carefully and gently. Do not pull or push it on any surface.
