5.20. Advanced Settings for Wind Turbines
To configure wind turbine settings, click on the ADVANCE icon.
What this page displays:
If one or both of the MPPTs are connected to a wind turbine.
What you can do from this page:
Select the MPPT to be used as a turbine input.
The table below shows the maximum current depending on the voltage of the wind turbine.
DO NOT use a wind turbine that exceeds 400V.
Use a self-breaking wind turbine. Once the batteries are fully charged and the
inverter is not exporting any power the load can drop. This can cause the tur-
bine to speed up dramatically, which can be very dangerous and usually hap-
pens suddenly. Thus, it is essential to use a self-breaking turbine.
