operating system. During the CPU C6 state, power to all caches is turned off.
The options are Enable and Disable.
Enhanced Halt State (C1E)
Select Enabled to enable "Enhanced Halt State" support, which will signicantly
reduce the CPU's power consumption by minimizing CPU's clock cycles and
voltage use during a "Halt State." The options are Disable and Enable.
CPU T State Control
ACPI (Advanced Conguration Power Interface) T-States
If this item is set to Enable, CPU throttling will be supported by the operating
system to reduce power consumption. The options are Enable and Disable.
CPU Advance PM Tuning
Energy Perf (Performance) BIAS
Energy Performance Tuning
Select Enable for the AMI BIOS to handle energy-performance tuning on the
CPU. Select Disable for the operating system to handle CPU energy-perfor-
mance tuning. The options are Disable and Enable.
Energy Performance Bias Setting
Use this feature to select an appropriate fan setting to achieve maximum system
performance (with maximum cooling) or maximum energy efciency with maxi-
mum power saving). The fan speeds are controlled by the rmware management
via IPMI 2.0. The options are Performance, Balanced Performance, Balanced
Power, and Power.
Power/Performance Switch
Select Enable to activate the Power/Performance switch to allow the user to
select the power saving mode, which will slow down the system performance,
or to select the system performance mode, which will consume more power. The
options are Enable and Disable.
Workload Conguration
