5-4 FUEL SYSTEM AND THROTTLE BODY
FUEL TANK REMOVAL
• Lift and support the fuel tank. (5-3)
• Disconnect the fuel pump lead wire coupler .
• Disconnect the fuel tank drain hose  and fuel tank breather
hose  (Except for E-33).
• Place a rag under the fuel feed hose  and disconnect the
fuel feed hose from the fuel tank.


• Remove the fuel tank by removing the mounting bolt.
FUEL TANK INSTALLATION
• Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
When removing the fuel tank, do not leave the fuel
feed hose  on the fuel tank side.
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
Keep heat, spark and flame away.
