PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND TUNE-UP PROCEDURES 2-16
CHASSIS BOLTS AND NUTS
Tighten at initial 1000 km (600 miles or 2 months) and
every 6000 km (4000 miles or 12 months).
The nuts and bolts listed below are important safety parts. They must be retightened when necessary to
the specified torque with a torque wrench. (Refer to page 2-l 7 for the locations of the following nuts and
bolts on the motorcycle.)
