WARNING

Do not perform any work on electrical components if the trans-
mitter is switched on. Failure to follow safety instructions could
result in serious injury or death.
 Always turn off AC power before manipulating electric parts.
 Installation and maintenance of electrical parts must be per-
formed by professionals.
NOTICE: The protective earth wire (Ground) has to be
connected to the grounding terminal.
Installation
requirements
The installation must meet the following requirements.
 Mains fuse 1.6 AT
 Mains cable to comply with standards IEC 60227 or IEC
60245; flammable rating FV1
 Mains equipped with an external switch or circuit-breaker
– near the instrument
– easily accessible to the operator
– marked as interrupter for AMI Oxytrace QED
