Introduction
Getting Started
The Hi_Cal height gauge has been designed to work on small at reference
surfaces such as granite or scraped cast iron plates. A number of technological
innovations make this instrument very suitable for easy, fast and reliable
measurements. It o󰀨ers the following advantages :
Very low measuring force (0.3N)
Excellent repeatability
Fully motorized probe displacement. The movement speed is proportional
to the pressure on the UP/DOWN button. The probe automatically tracks
proles and maintains a constant measuring force : measuring diame-
ters is, therefore, fast and precise
Reduced weight for easy handling
Very easy to operate and versatile: can be used both in the workshop and
laboratory
Two lines display, enabling viewing of diameter and centerline simultaneously
Simply remove the transport xing part by pulling it upward, then x the probe on
the support: instrument is ready for measuring. Keep the transport clamp and the
locking system for any subsequent transport. (see commissioning diagram p.2)
Important: Always check the xing of the probe and the probe constant
value before measuring.
Connect the AC/DC adapter, and check the status lights:

Bottom light :
Remark: initially, or after a long period without use of the instrument, battery
loading may take a few minutes before the instrument is ready.
