12 SYSTEM BALANCING
12.1 About SelfSensing ProBalance
The pump is equipped with SelfSensing ProBalance
TM
technology. SelfSensing ProBalance
TM
technology is a
revolutionary system balancing method that utilizes the
VFD’s SelfSensing capabilities to enable the user to
accomplish easy do-it-yourself system balancing.
This guide provides a method to reset the control curve
previously discussed in Section 10.2. The goal is to
move the adjusted operating point at design flow so that
it falls on the actual system resistance curve (Point C in
Figure 12-3).
