Backing Track Gain
Track gain allows you to adjust the gain of a par-
ticular Backing Track on a per-Preset basis.
Please note that the first place you should go to
adjust the overall level of your Backing Tracks is
the MIX page(s). There is a TRACK control in the
Main and Headphone mix screens.

Once you have got the general balance between
your Vocal, Guitar, Loop, MET, Aux and Track
levels, you can use the Track Gain parameter to
tweak an individual track to blend optimally in a
particular Preset.
If you associate a Backing Track with multiple
presets, you’ll need to adjust the Track Gain pa-
rameter in each one.

There are three ways to play Backing Tracks.

the Backing Track interface
Press and hold the LAYER button to enter the
Backing Track player.

You will now see transport and sequence re-
cording controls as described here:

► Track Selection Menu: Opens a screen that al-
lows you to choose a track – similar to the file
selector dialog box in your computer’s oper-
ating system with the following controls (from
left to right):

► Backing Track list (right half of the screen):
► Use the Preset UP/DN footswitches to
browse the available Backing Tracks.
