Install the rear cover in the pump body with its
gasket pointed downward.
⑫ Install the four bolts and tighten them to the
specied torque:
Tightening torque: 88 - 98 N-m {9 - 10 kgf-m}
[65.1 - 72.3 ft-lbs]
⑬ Remove the pump from the vice and put it on a
work bench.
Apply grease on the area between the lips and
on the outer diameter of a new oil seal. Install it
on the oil seal guide shown in Fig. 7.50. Put it
on the drive shaft of the pump, and install the oil
seal onto the front cover with an oil seal snap.
