MA-1650-4 SERIES
1. INTRODUCTION
This programming manual describes information on programming and other related operations of the MA-1650
Master-Satellite System.
Please start reading this manual after going through the MA-1650 Programming Manual for the stand-alone level.
By adding the IFU Board for Master-Satellite, a Batch-consolidation or Scanning system of a maximum of 16 terminals
can be built. By connecting a PC (which requires another IFU board separately sold), a Transaction Data Capture
system is possible.
Most of the programming operations for the stand-alone level are still effective in the Master-Satellite System.
However, those operations that need to be changed for the Master-Satellite system level are to be described in this
manual.
Especially for operation procedures by cashiers and manager respectively, please refer to the M/S Level of the MA-
1650 Owner’s Manual which is separately issued.
