5.4.2 Switching o the device
With mains operation:
> By briefly pressing the On / Standby buon you can switch the device to
standby mode. [Standby] appears briefly on the display. The date and time are
shown on the display. The display brightness in standby mode can be adjusted
by following the instructions in Section 12.2.
> Pressing and holding the On / Standby buon will put the device in power-
saving mode and the display will go o. [Power o] appears briefly on the
display.
The baery will also charge in standby or low power mode.
In baery mode
> In baery mode, the unit is always switched o by pressing the On / Standby
buon. [Power o] appears briefly on the display. In this case, there is no date
and time display.
Standby mode is not available on baery power.
