6 The DAB function
DAB+ is a digital format through which crystal clear sound with no noise can be heard. In contrast to conventional analogue
radio stations, DAB+ can be used to broadcast multiple stations on the same frequency. More information is available at www.
dabplus.de or www.dabplus.ch.
6.1 DAB radio reception
> Press the MODE buon until [Digital Radio] appears in the display.
6.1.1 Scanning
The automatic scan [Full Scan] scans all DAB band III channels and finds all broadcasters broadcasting in the reception
range.
> Press the SCAN buon to carry out a full scan. [Scanning] appears in the display. The scan starts and a progress bar
appears in the display.
Alternatively:
> Start the scan via Menu > Full Scan.
> When this is complete, press p or q and OK to select a station.
If no stations are found, check the orientation of the antenna and change the location if necessary.
6.1.2 Selecting a station
> By turning the SCROLL&SELECT knob on the device or pressing p or q, you can select a station from the station list
that appears.
> Confirm your selection by pressing the SCROLL&SELECT knob on the device or by pressing OK on the remote control.
> Alternatively, you can select a station via Menu > Station List.
