c. CHECK—The display is between 4.85 and 5.15
divisions.
d. Disconnect the test equipment from the
instrument.
5. Check X Bandwidth
a. Set both channels VOLTS/DIV switches to
50 mV.
b. Connect the leveled sine-wave generator out
put via a 50-ft coaxial cable and a 50-X1 termination
to the CH 1 OR X input connector.
c. Set the generator to produce an 8-division
horizontal display at an output frequency of 50 kHz.
d. Increase the output frequency until the X-Axis
(horizontal) deflection amplitude is 5.7 divisions.
e. CHECK—The frequency is 2 MHz or greater.
f. Disconnect the test equipment from the
instrument.
