If the positive or negative terminal is connected
to the protective ground terminal, the
insulation capacity needed for the load and
load cables is greatly reduced. The insulation
capacity only needs to be greater than the
maximum output voltage of the power supply
with respect to ground.
If using external voltage control, do not ground
the external voltage terminal as this will create a
short circuit.
