One way to utili
ze the RS-232/USB cable-based oscilloscope-to-PC connection
is with the Tektronix OpenChoice Desktop program. This free application lets
you capture oscilloscope screen images, waveform data and settings from a
Microsoft Windows computer.
You can load the OpenChoice Desktop program from the Tektronix O penChoice
Desktop PC Communications Software CD that came with your oscilloscope.
You can also download a copy from www.tektronix.com/software. You can find it
there by searching on “OpenChoice”.
