Watch IPTV Programs

Networking Requirement
The broadband service includes the IPTV service. The ISP offers you the IPTV account and
password without a VLAN ID. You can watch IPTV programs through the IPTV service.
Solution
You can configure the IPTV function of the router and AP to achieve the requirement.
Configuration Procedure
Step 1
Configure the router.
1.
Log in to the web UI of the router, enable the IPTV function of the router, and assign a
LAN port of the router as the IPTV port, LAN 2 in this example.
2.
In the router's AP list, locate the AP to be connected to the IPTV set-top box, and bind an
Ethernet port of the AP to IPTV service, LAN1 in this example.
Step 2
Connect the IPTV cable of the optical modem to the IPTV port (LAN 2 in this example) of
the router.
Step 3
Connect the Ethernet port (LAN 1 in this example) of the AP to the IPTV set-top box.
Step 4
Configure your IPTV set-top box using the IPTV account and password.

Verification
After the configuration, you can watch IPTV programs on your TV.
