² IP Address End: Enter the range of IP address pool for
DHCP server distribution.
² Lease Time: The length of the IP address lease. Set an
appropriate lease time to improve the recovery
efficiency of invalid IP address.
For example
If the lease time is an hour, then DHCP server will reclaim
the IP address each hour.
8.2 DHCP List and Binding
DHCP client can display computers’ IP address; MAC
address, host name and other information which are
assigned by the DHCP sever. You can manually enter the IP
and MAC address; it would be converted to static allocation.
According to the computer's MAC address, DHCP will
assign the appropriate IP address. If you can not find the
corresponding static binding entry, assign an IP from the
DHCP pool to the computer. If the computer had been
bound for the IP address and MAC and they do not
correspond, then the computer will be unable to access
equipment. (Through binding prevents unauthorized to
