Parameters Explanation
Flow rate correction
factor
Due to pressure drops in the system, the measured
volume flow may be smaller than the actual volume
flow.
The measured volume flow can be corrected via the
flow rate correction factor.
The flow rate correction factor has a directly
proportional effect on the measurement result and is
usually set at 1.00. Once the factor is changed, the
result is multiplied by the flow rate correction factor.
Pitot tube factor See Section 6.6.6.
Channel geometry Entering a channel geometry is required if the
operating or standard volumetric flow needs to be
determined.
You can choose between round and square channel
shape (confirm selection with [ ]).
As well as the direct channel shape, the "c factor"
function (see Section 6.6.9) or funnel can also be
selected (see Section 6.6.7)
Electrical power The electrical power can be set in W, kW or BtU/h.
This data is purely for informational purposes and is
not incorporated in any measurement result.
