Performing a measurement
✓ All points under "Preparing for measurement" have been carried
out.
1. Press [ ].
- Explorer structure is displayed.
2. Select the desired measuring point.
The
settings in the measuring point have no effects on the
measurement result.
3. [ ] → New PPMV/PPD measurement.
- PMV/PPD measurement is opened.
4. Select the serial number (SN) for the individual probe.
- In the case of digital probes, the probe name appears. As long as
the probe has not been renamed, it is always identified by the last
three digits of the serial number.
- When connecting analog thermocouples, Int [TE1] or Int [TE2]
appears as the serial number, depending on which connector was
selected.
5. Specify parameters and unit for clothing and activity.
6. Select measuring type and measuring rate.
7. Set criteria for start and end of the measurement.
8. [ ] → Save and start measurement

During the measurement, the values are calculated from
the current readings.
After the measurement, a calculation is carried out based
on mean values.
9. [ ] → Save and close
- Measurement protocol is saved under the selected measuring
point.
10. The measurement protocol is displayed.
