Adjustment Wheel Settings
The voltage wheel/joystick is an infinite turn potentiometer, which is used to initiate
different types of move depending on its mode setting. The mode can be set either via the
GUI Settings panel as follows or via the top panel display menu, see Section 4.4.
Wheel Mode
Voltage Adjust - The wheel can be use d to in crease and decrease the drive
voltage. The voltage change is proportional to the deflection of the wheel
according to the setting in the Wheel Gear parameter as follows:
Change Rate: High - Voltage adjusts at a high rate, i.e. 1 V per click
Change Rate: Medium - Voltage adjusts at a medium rate, i.e. 100 mV per click
Change Rate: Low - Voltage adjusts at a low rate, i.e. 10 mV per click
Voltage Jogging - Defle cting the wheel initiates a change in the d rive voltage,
using the parameters specified by the Voltage Jog Step Size parameter on the
Settings tab. The voltage changes by one step for each click of the wheel.
Go To Voltage - Deflecting the wheel changes the drive voltage to one of the two
predefined “teach” voltages. The teach voltages are specified in the Preset Volts
1 and Preset Volts 2 parameters.
