5. USING THE BATTERY

• Replace all 4 dry batteries with new ones at the same time.
• Do not mix used and new dry batteries, and do not mix different types of dry batteries together.
• Generally, performances of dry battery deteriorate temporarily in low temperature, but recover in normal
temperature.
• Dry batteries are sold separately.
• It is possible to remove the dry batteries from the DB-82 battery holder and use the battery pack BT-79Q.
PROCEDURE Replacing the dry batteries
1. Remove the battery holder by turning battery holder knob
to "OPEN".
2. Remove the old batteries and replace with new four dry
batteries (D alkaline batteries), matching [+] and [-] as
shown in the figure.
3. Insert the battery holder. Tighten the battery holder knob
to “LOCK” side.
