EngineSpeedSwitch
Theenginespeedswitch(Figure4)hastwomodes
tochangetheenginespeed.Bymomentarilytapping
theswitch,theenginespeedcanbeincreasedor
decreasedin100rpmincrements.Byholdingthe
switchdowntheenginewillautomaticallymoveto
HighorLowidle,dependingonwhichoftheswitchis
depressed.
PTOSwitch
ThePTOswitch(Figure4)hastwopositions:Out
(start)andIn(stop).PullthePTObuttonoutto
engagethecuttingunitblades.Pushinthebuttonto
disengagethecuttingunitblades.
Hi-LoSpeedControl
Theswitch(Figure4)allowsthespeedrangeto
increasefortransportofthemachine.Cuttingdecks
willnotoperateinhighrange.T oswitchbetweenthe
HighandLorange,thedecksmustberaised,PTO
disengaged,cruisecontroldisengaged,tractionpedal
inneutralpositionandthemachinemustbemovingat
aslowspeed.
LiftSwitches
Theliftswitches(Figure4)raiseandlowerthecutting
units.Presstheswitchesforwardtolowerthecutting
unitsandbackwardtoraisethecuttingunits.When
startingthemachine,withthecuttingunitsinthedown
position,presstheliftswitchdowntoallowthecutting
unitstooatandmow.
Note:ThedeckswillnotlowerwhileintheHIspeed
rangeandtheywillnotraiseorloweriftheoperatoris
outoftheseatwhentheengineisrunning.Also,the
deckswilllowerwiththekeyintheOnpositionand
theoperatorintheseat.
CruiseControlSwitch
Thecruisecontrolswitch(Figure4)setsthespeedof
themachine.Pressingtherearoftheswitchturnsoff
thecruisecontrol,themiddlepositionoftheswitch
enablesthecruisecontrolfunctionandthefrontofthe
switchsetsthedesiredgroundspeed.
Note:Pressingeitherbrakepedalormovingthe
tractionpedalintothereverseposition,forone
second,willalsodisengagethecruisecontrol.
