1.Whilermlyholdingontodeck-lifthandle,unhook
mowerdecklatchfromthemachineandslowlylower
mowerdecktoground(Figure20).
2.Pushthedecklockingpinsinwardandrotatethem
forwardtosecurelylockthemowerdeckinthelowered
position(Figure19).
WARNING
Operatingmowerwithoutlockingpinssecurely
latchedcanresultinthemowerdeckfolding
upunexpectedly.Themowerdeckfoldingup
unexpectedlycancauseseriousinjury.
Alwaysoperatemowerwithlockingpinssecurely
latched.
AdjustingtheFillReduction
System(FRS)Bafes
TheFillReductionSystemhasbeendesignedtoallowyouto
reducetheamountofclippingscollectedbyvaryingdegrees.
Theadvantagesincludelessfrequentemptyingofthehopper
andthereturnofnutrientstothesoil.
Thefollowingarepossiblecongurations:
•Bafesopenwithstandardblades—maximumcollection
•Bafesclosedwithstandardblades—partialmulching
•Bafesclosedwithmulchblades—intermediatemulching
•Mulchpluginstalledwithmulchblades—complete
mulching(requiresmulchkit)
AdjusttheFRSbafesasfollows:
1.Stoptheengine,waitforallmovingpartstostopand
removekey.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Removethehairpinsandclevispinsfrombothsides
ofthePTOguard(Figure21).
4.Foldtheguardforward.
