Important:Donottransportthemachinewithoutan
approvedTorofrontmountattachment.
1.Stoptheengine,waitforallmovingpartstostopand
removethekey.Engagetheparkingbrake.
2.Rollthemowerdeckuptothemachinewiththe
dischargetubedown,makingsurethedeckspringsare
locatedabovethedrivewheelandbelowtheconsole
oneachside.
3.Raisetheseatandinstaltheldriveshaftontothe
jackshaft(Figure72)
4.Alignthemowerdeckpush-armtubestomachine
push-armsandpushthemowerdeckrearward.
5.Securethepusharmswiththelynchpinsontheleft
andrightsidesofthemachine(Figure70).
6.AligntheupperportionoftherubberPTOguardto
thetabsonthefrontoftheconsoleandsecurewitha
clevispinandhairpinoneachside(Figure71).
7.Releasethemowerdecklockingpinsoneachside,raise
themowerdecktotheservicepositionandsecurethe
decklatchontohook.RefertoRaisingtheMower
DeckintoServicePosition(page20).
8.Installthespringsontothespringanchorpinsunder
theleftandrightconsolesandsecurewithawasher
andhairpin(Figure69).
9.Un-latchthemowerdeckfromtheraisedposition,
slowlylowerthemowerdecktogroundandlockthe
decklockingpinsoneachside.RefertoLoweringthe
MowerDecktotheOperatingPosition(page21).
AdjustingtheMower
Deck-LockingPinStop
1.Slidethemowerdeck-lockingpinsinonbothsidesand
rotatetolockthedeckintheoperationposition.
2.Loosenthejamnutandturnthestopscrewclockwise
untilthelockingpinistightandcannotberotatedby
hand(Figure73).
