2.Loosenthejamnutandturnthestopscrewclockwise
untilthelockingpinsistightandcannotberotatedby
hand(Figure61).

CheckingtheHydraulicOil
ServiceInterval:Every40hours—Checkthehydraulicoil
level.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Movethespeedcontrollevertotheneutralposition
tostopthemachine.
3.DisengagethePTO,engagetheparkingbrake,stopthe
engine,andwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
4.Allowtheengineandthehydraulicsystemtocoolfor
10minutes.
Note:Togetthecorrectreading,checkthehydraulic
oillevelwhenthemachineisnothot.
5.Raisetheseatup.
6.Cleantheareaaroundthedipstickofthe
hydraulic-systemreservoir(Figure62).
7.Removethedipstickfromthehydraulicreservoir
(Figure62).
8.Wipethedipstickoffandthreadthedipstickintothe
reservoir.
9.Removethedipstickandlookattheend(Figure62).
Iftheoillevelisattheaddmark,slowlypouronly
enoughoilintothehydraulicreservoirtoraisethelevel
tothefullline.
Important:Donotoverllthehydraulicunits
withoilasdamagemayoccur.Donotrunthe
machinewiththeoilbelowtheaddmark.
